The Mehrangarh Trust is pleased to announce a new partnership to launch the Jodhpur Photography Museum (JPM) under the direction of sepiaEYE, New York. The JPM is dedicated solely to photography and visual culture in India. The museum is to focus on the ongoing documentation, examination and dialogue surrounding the medium of photography through research, exhibitions, publications, school and public programs, and community outreach.
Funding from PhotoSouthAsia enabled Esa Epstein, the Director of sepiaEYE, to travel to India on a couple of occasions to set up and initiate this project.
