Where Three Dreams Cross – 150 Years of Photography from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh traces the characteristics of contemporary South-Asian photography through its historical precedents, over the past 150 years. Its starting point is the crucial moment when the power to hold a camera was no longer exclusively in the preserve of colonial or European photographers. The fast time of political upheaval and technology as well as the slow time of family, culture, and ritual are captured through the lens of some 80 artists, curated by Radhika in Delhi, Hammad Nassar in Pakistan, and Shahidul Alam in Bangladesh.
